Dark, clouds, a strong, biting wind and Canberra cold couldn’t keep people away from the Permaculture Festival at Canberra City Farm.

The Festival was the prelude to fourteenth Australasian Permaculture Convergence, the biannual gathering or permaculture people from across the country.

As usual at such events, it was the opportunity for friends and acquaintances to renew friendships and again say hello to those unseen since the last convergence. The Festival was a day of reuniting, reviving our participation in permaculture, an afternoon of music and conviviality among the vege beds and fruit trees of Canberra City Farm.
